Exclusive from Kiev! Sončess collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days

From August 30th to September 3rd, Kiev hosted Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days and its Spring-Summer 2018 season. It was a five-day fashion marathon that set the start of a series of shows all over the world.

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Kiev is aimed at the global promotion of a new generation of East European brands. Kiev nowadays became a new fashion capital in the world.

Since its foundation in 2010, Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days has been striving to bring the Ukrainian fashion industry to the level of international standards, twice a year presenting collections of talented designers to the global audience. The fashion world is actively discussing Eastern fashion revolution. New talents from eastern European countries have already gained a worldwide popularity.

New talents from Armenia at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days

Designer Vahan Khachatryan initiated this year’s cocktail show of 12 Armenian designers spring/summer 2018 collection during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days Kiev in Kiev. The project’s main contributor was the EU4Business Support to SME Development in Armenia (SMEDA) program.

Within the framework of Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days Armenian designer Sona Hakobyan presented her Sončess Spring/Summer 2018 collection in Just in Space platform. The models of the K Models Ukrainian Model Center walked the runway during the cocktail show.

During Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days were also presented such Armenian brands as Biayni by Vahan Khachatryan, Aram Nikolyan, Loom Weaving, Petoor, Ruzane, Shabeeg, Seda Manukyan, Nelly Serobyan, Zgest, Naghash, Vahan Avakian.

A lot of people from all over the world were invited, such as the representatives of international Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, L’officiel, W, Cosmopolitan magazines, fashion websites, bloggers, and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days Kiev buyers.

This project was a great opportunity for Armenian young designers to get partners in the international arena.
